A site specific art installation
is a work of art specifically designed and built to fit snugly
and permanently into a specific location. On many occasions
Pierre has fitted his custom made artwork into restaurants,
clubs, spas and private homes.
The unique thing about a site specific art installation is that
they become an intimate piece of the environment their in. A
tree may grow out of a bar top wrapping its branches around
a collection of wine bottles. Iron flames leap off and climb
up a brick wall in a collage of scrap metals hiding randomly
placed candle holders. A Jacuzzi room becomes a tropical rainforest
with copper and brass vines and water cascading willows. Entranceways
become portholes for the imagination to walk through.
